Review: Professional, kind, honest, fair, prompt, safe, and tidy. We had a sizable job that included the removal 8 large Pine Trees and a Black Gum Tree, as well as the pruning of many trees on the property. I kept seeing their trucks in our neighborhood, so I gave them a call for an estimate. Kevin, the owner, was out quickly and gave a thorough explanation of his company's experience and what needed to be done to do the job right. He also said they were most likely the most reasonably priced compared to other tree removal companies. The office emailed the estimate that evening and offered to speak to me about any additional questions I might have. I got 2 other estimates that were much pricier than Andrus's, and to be honest, I just had a good feeling about Kevin while meeting with him. He and his employees arrived in a timely manner each day and were very professional. They did an amazing job with the removal and pruning, and they thoroughly cleaned up the job site after each work day. We couldn't be more pleased and highly suggest them. I've included some pics of them getting the job done.

Review: Andrus Tree Service brings knowledge, expertise, and most importantly experience to the tree industry. From examining tree health to identifying potential damage hazards, Andrus tree service meets all expectations and needs of a home owner’s property. Unbeknownst to us, a large tree in our backyard was struck by lightning. Kevin not only identified the existing damage but provided information about the tree’s health and safety concerns moving forward.Cleanup is commendable. All debris removed, including surrounding areas blown, resulting in a fresh, new area.We have used Andrus tree service for the past 15 years and will continue to do so. Kevin is a pleasure to work with. Andrus tree service crew members are efficient and promote excellent customer service.Services: Tree stump grinding, Tree trimming & pruning, Tree removal

Review: Disappointed in what happened with them. Reached out to them a few weeks ago because I have a couple trees struggling. I was told the arborist would go out the following week which never happened. Then they asked me to send them pictures, which I did, and a few days later still no response. Finally this week I receive an email telling me they were sorry for not going out to look at my trees because they were busy doing other stuff but to just water my tree and it “should” recover. Don’t offer the service if you don’t actually offer the service. You should have told me upfront that you don’t do what I needed or tell me that I was outside your service area. Just don’t leave me hanging for three week.

Tree Removal Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cut down a tree by myself?
It is not always safe to cut down a tree yourself, and only a few situations allow you to cut a tree. For example, you can cut a tree if it is not so long and doesn't require a ladder to climb. Moreover, you can also cut a tree that is easygoing and breaks easily without hurting you.
How do you calculate the cost of cutting down a tree?
Tree Removal Cost per Foot For small trees up to 30 feet tall, the removal cost will be $150 to $400. The next size is the medium tree, which is about 30-60 feet and costs $450-$700. If a tree is taller than 60 feet but less than100, it will cost you $900-$1200 to remove.
What time of year is cheapest for tree removal?
The coldest months—specifically February or March—are actually the best and, overall, the cheapest time to remove trees. Winter tends to bring outdoor projects to a screeching halt, but tree removal plays by a different set of rules.
Can removing a tree cause foundation problems?
When trees have died or have been removed, the roots that remain under or near a foundation can create problems. As the root system begins to rot and decay, air spaces and gaps occur in the soil to replace the roots. This results in a soil that can shift to fill the void.
Should I remove the tree next to my house?
If it looks like it's dying or near the end of its life already, consider removing it soon. If it is dangerously leaning over your home and causes you to worry with every storm, take it out and know that some settlement may occur. If it is ugly and you hate it and it's causing too many problems, take it out.
