Review: This is my second time using Davey Tree, and both times have been great. Recently my mature oak had a limb crack and was hanging over the sidewalk. The representative explained that the oak was getting too heavy at the ends of the branches and needed to be trimmed back. A few days later a crew was out and spent several hours carefully trimming the tree from bottom to top. On a second oak, a major limb was threatening my garage. They carefully cut the limb a piece at at time, lowered the severed parts to the ground by rope and protected the garage. All crew members were professional, efficient, safety conscious, and polite. I'm sure they are not the cheapest, but they are experienced, try to protect the tree, and worth the price. Note, many people are complaining about the utility work - they are following the power line company instructions and need to get rid of all branches that threaten the power lines. Not really their choice.

Review: Davey Tree trimmed trees as part of a job for the electric company. We were out of town at the time so our brush was left. We gave them a call and they came back to get the brush! Very polite when I got the phone to arrange the pickup. Keep it up guys!

Review: Like the other reviews, they were sent out by the utility company to trim trees away from the power lines. Man knocks on my door and says he needs access to my back yard and explains why. I said okay is it going to get cleaned up afterwards? Oh yes, he says! Liar….I came home to a mess in the back yard that I have to clean up! Wow….how unprofessional….and agree with another reviewer….will NEVER hire them for my own personal use if this is how they do business. Oh and lesson learned….WILL never give them access again!Update: They kindly sent someone out to my property to clean up the debris. Tbh it was the principle of the matter and that I had asked if he was going to clean up any mess they made and he said yes. I do appreciate the fact that they made it right in the end. Thank you!

Review: Look I think its time they change their name from Davey Tree Expert to "Davey Tree Expertly leave a mess all over your yard , don't knock on your door to let you know they will be working in your yard company" granted they came back the next day to clean their mess, but it wasn't until after I called and complain. We didn't hire them it was a bid contract thru Centerpoint Energy and unfortunate for us they ruined my 40 year old Magnolia and Oak Tree (see pics).... Anyways I will never pay for that type of unprofessional garbage work.

Review: Davey Tree Company came to our neighborhood on contract from CenterPoint to clear the branches near power lines. Very blade happy group. When asked to talk to their Arborist, one person Jorge assured me that they were all certified arborists, in English and Spanish. Just to clarify, this person told me in my face that they were all certified arborists but did not have their certifications. I asked if they were certified by MADD and he said yes, exactly. Very sorry Mothers Against Drunk Driving.We have already lost two huge white oaks due to infections. When asked if they sanitize their blades and if they were going to put something on the cut trunks, this "certified arborist" had no idea.Davey Tree company used to be the best, their founder was the first and original tree doctor. Now they are killing them. Just on our small street in Spring Valley, TX, 15 or more guys in bright neon vests showed up. Like locusts, leaving nothing in their path. Forget power lines, they cut branches around line markers !!! I tried to tell them it is just a rope and not a utility or fiber line. Guys just said yes CenterPoint.I understand it is not CenterPoint's problem. They contracted work out to Davey expecting quality. All is left is founder's good name that is being trashed. CenterPoint was kicked out of the Better Business Bureau. Davey is on their way at this rate.
