Review: My neighbor actually hired this company to take out some trees that were brittle & old- previous owner should have removed them 20 years ago- these limbs were 40 foot long hanging over my shed- this company came out & absolutely rocked it…. Swinging limbs & making crazy contraptions to keep everyone safe! Great guys!Second- they were doing tree work at a random house & found baby squirrels- guess what?? They called to get them help! Amazing I ended up going to the location not realizing who called to find this awesome crew on the other end! So for them! Thank you for saving the 4 baby squirrels & doing excellent work!

Review: Eric and his crew were absolutely amazing! It was so sad that I had a very old oak tree that was high risk and had to be removed. I was unable to be on the premises, but it was nice to receive updates from Eric throughout the day.I highly recommend this company for tree removals. I will share this company with friends & and family since I know how satisfied they will be with the experience. Thanks for all the hard work!!!

Review: Y’all! Anyone needing tree work done, holler at Erick at Heartwood Tree Care! Beyond impressed with what those fellas can do with some saws and rope! Wish I could give ‘em a dozen stars instead of just 5. Our back yard is TIGHT, fenced and had four 70’ oaks overhanging both our garage and our neighbor’s. Not a scratch on even a fence post! These dudes are the real deal and by far, the most reasonable price around. True professionals and can seriously do it all. Most of the trees in our hood are fighting each other for light and you can tell by the way they lean and grow toward one side.If it’s even crossed your mind about a tree trim or removal, just give Heartwood a call (that part is free). Promise y’all-you’ll be glad ya did.

Review: The entire crew was a pleasure to work with . They arrived on time , walked the yard with me to ensure they knew exactly what we wanted and then went right to work. Beautiful job of trimming up the large oak in the front yard. Meticulous in removing a damaged tree and pruning back branches that hung over our fence line. Took care in ensuring none of the debris damaged our yard, or fence line. Cleanup was thorough and quick. Highly recommend Erik and his crew

Review: Erick and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional. They took all my trees down, trimmed the oak, and cleaned up all before lunch time. Fairly priced and fast service, they even make sure the birds and squirrels are out of the tree before cutting! 10/10 would use Heatwood again if I had any trees left!

Tree Removal Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cut down a tree by myself?
It is not always safe to cut down a tree yourself, and only a few situations allow you to cut a tree. For example, you can cut a tree if it is not so long and doesn't require a ladder to climb. Moreover, you can also cut a tree that is easygoing and breaks easily without hurting you.
How do you calculate the cost of cutting down a tree?
Tree Removal Cost per Foot For small trees up to 30 feet tall, the removal cost will be $150 to $400. The next size is the medium tree, which is about 30-60 feet and costs $450-$700. If a tree is taller than 60 feet but less than100, it will cost you $900-$1200 to remove.
What time of year is cheapest for tree removal?
The coldest months—specifically February or March—are actually the best and, overall, the cheapest time to remove trees. Winter tends to bring outdoor projects to a screeching halt, but tree removal plays by a different set of rules.
Can removing a tree cause foundation problems?
When trees have died or have been removed, the roots that remain under or near a foundation can create problems. As the root system begins to rot and decay, air spaces and gaps occur in the soil to replace the roots. This results in a soil that can shift to fill the void.
Should I remove the tree next to my house?
If it looks like it's dying or near the end of its life already, consider removing it soon. If it is dangerously leaning over your home and causes you to worry with every storm, take it out and know that some settlement may occur. If it is ugly and you hate it and it's causing too many problems, take it out.
